La novela venezolana: La herramienta para denuncia social

Resumen

Resumen La novela desde su inicio tuvo como propósito entretener un público. Sin embargo, a lo largo de su evolución su intención inicial, tomó distintas perspectivas como fue la reflexión, la crítica, la educación. En el caso de la novela venezolana, los escritores mantuvieron el placer de entretener a los lectores hasta mediados del siglo XIX, cuando la narrativa da un giro mediante la crítica social, y es así como se comienza a plasmar a través de la escritura todos estos procesos históricos que atravesaba la época, los cuales fueron vividos por escritores de estas realidades. Se pretende que a través de este análisis se describa el origen, la evolución y cómo ese proceso literario histórico fue una herramienta para la denuncia de las injusticias sociales, la división de poderes, la tiranía y desigualdades de la sociedad venezolana. Abstract The novel from its beginning had the purpose of entertaining an audience. However, throughout its evolution, its initial intention took different perspectives such as reflection, criticism, and education. In the case of the Venezuelan novel, writers maintained the pleasure of entertaining readers until the mid-19th century, when the narrative took a turn through social criticism, and this is how all these historical processes that the time was going through and of which many writers lived these realities began to be captured through writing. It is intended that through this analysis the origin, the evolution and how this historical literary process was a tool for the denunciation of social injustices, the division of powers, the tyranny and inequalities of Venezuelan society.
