ARTESANÍA ECOAMBIENTAL: UTILIZACIÓN ALTERNA DE RECURSOS AMBIENTALES EN LA EDUCACIÓN MEDIA GENERAL

ECO-ENVIRONMENTAL CRAFTSMANSHIP: ALTERNATIVE USE OF ENVIRONMENTAL RESOURCES IN GENERAL AVERAGE EDUCATION

Resumen

The eco-environmental crafts covers manual works using environmental resources for its elaboration, it is a traditional system transmitted from generation to generation. The general purpose of the research was to develop contextualized pedagogical actions in eco-environmental crafts as an alternative for the use of environmental resources by the students of the 2nd year of general secondary education. Through a diagnosis of the studied reality we observed the ignorance that teachers have as well as the students in relation to the realization of eco-environmental handicrafts. The methodology to which the research obeyed is of a qualitative nature based on the socio-critical post-positivist paradigm, under the Participatory Action Research (IAP) method. The scenario was the Bolivarian high school "Agustín Codazzi" San Fernando municipality, Apure state, from which three key students were taken as key informants; 2 teachers. The information was collected using the participant observation technique and as instruments, a structured interview script was used. The analysis techniques used were: categorization, triangulation, contrast and theorization. Among the findings we have: The pedagogical actions allowed the transformation of the reality and achieve in the students in a significant way the awakening of creative ideas and the production of ecoenvironmental crafts, in addition it was evidenced that the young people felt great motivation when knowing the importance and the value represented by having prepared this type of work.
