LENGTH-WEIGHT RELATIONSHIP OF THE SEVERAL COMMERCIAL FISH SPECIES IN THE APURE RIVER, VENEZUELA
Resumen
The conversions of length into weight measurements were accomplished by a simple linear regression model. The slope mean was significantly different from 3. The distribution of slope (b) of the species showed a moderate fit to a normal curve. The plot of anti-log (a) versus (b) showed that H. armatus appears as an “outlier” and the ecological implications of this are discussed.Descargas
